oil capacity

Post by AZ-3,1498cc,UK »

Just changed my oil and put in 4.5 litres does that sound like the right amount? Also i put in 5-30w castrol magnatax synthetic oil as my engine ticks a bit. I live in the U.K where the climate averages between 0-25 centigrade, is 5-30w grade oil more for a climate below 0 degrees?

Im confused: in the online tech manual it says oil capacity:
Total (dry engine) = 4.9 L
Engine oil replacement = 3.7 L
Engine oil + oil filter replacement = 4 L
so how much oil is needed in an oil change?
