Um.. a shift kit?
IF this car has 34k Miles on it, and is an auto, chances are there has been no tranny work done to it. A shift kit is highly doubtful. If I a proven wrong I will remove my post, but I too have an auto, and I personally cant find a place that makes one for the mx-3. IF you do know of one, by all means please tell me. But a shift kit?
------------------
Barry Clark
Moderator
1995 Mazda Mx-3 RS
Chaste White
barrykclark.com
barrykclark@hotmail.com

Car isnt s--- its got a salvage title, not a high resale value on that.
As fopr a shift kit, it changes Shift patterns for the tranny, thos higher redlining and better shift points.
And noone so far as I know makes one.

------------------
Barry Clark
Moderator
1995 Mazda Mx-3 RS
Chaste White
barrykclark.com
barrykclark@hotmail.com
[This message has been edited by Custommx3 (edited August 30, 2001).]

My question is..why would you have tranny work done @ 34k miles. Im not trying to down your car, nor saying its not worth 6k, Im just curious.
------------------
Barry Clark
Moderator
1995 Mazda Mx-3 RS
Chaste White
barrykclark.com
barrykclark@hotmail.com

I say just close the post, Almost all mx-s out there have been wrecked. I have yet to see one that is truely all original. but on the hard shifts that chirp the tires from 1st to 2nd, that is no custom work. That is what all our auto trannys are doing right now and I myself want it to STop. It jerks my entire car and Im sure that it could cause damage to the axles for they arent designed for that sudden jerk. And to go against the trust of someone just to get the satisfaction of proving them wrong? WHat a Prick.

I am just curious, your Dad saved this special edition MX-3 for you for 5 years, you only put 3,000 miles on it in 5 months of driving it, and you want to sell it? With haveing a special mod of a shift kit that practically no MX-3 has, A very limited edition Blue color. What reason would you want to sell this car for? Knowing that it has a savalge title and that you want to sell it already, I am assuming that you may be having problems with it. I once oned a savalged car, and it was more of a hassle to own. I have seen the pictures and it looks in mint condition but this car seems too good to be true. I find it hard to believe that this car had only minor damage to be totalled.

------------------
Skiddy
94'MX-3 RS
Emerald Green
