brake warning light?

Post by Acamori »

anytime i accelerate hard (from stop lights/signs whatever) or take a corner a half decent speed (at least 25mph around a tight 90degree corner) my brake warning light comes on. i checked the resevoir and it appears to be filled to between the min and max marks (about midway, maybe a little higher) the light goes back off either imideately or after a couple seconds and my brakes don't seem to be adversly effected.

does anyone know what might be causing this? it kinda concerns me, as i'd like to always be able to stop my car.

The warning light only comes on for 2 reasons:
- low fluid level
- hand brake on

The hand brake light switch isn't really touchy? I mean, you'd notice.

If thats ok and the fluid level is ok, maybe you should unplug the reserviour switch and see if that stops it.

It won't affect your braking unless you really are out of fluid- its only a warning light.
