Curved Neck KLZE IM

Post by Absath »

I have an extra one which I want to have cleaned up so it looks nice in my engine bay. So I guess I want it bead blasted and powder coated? Is that right? I want it a nice clean silver...

Anyway, is there anything else I can do to the IM performance-wise before it goes on the car?

Take it to a automotive machine shop and have it "Cold Tanked" first.. Cold tanking usually takes a couple of days.. but will get rid of all oily greasy dirt from the intake both inside and out. Then you can look into bead blasting and polishing & possibly powder coating. Best of luck.
