Wheel Bearing???????????

Post by Malcste »

My 98 mx-3 has a loud rumbling noise especially at low speed coming from the rear wheels. I have replaced both rear wheel bearings but it has not got rid of the noise. The car is standard from Mazda.

Has anyone any idea?

Cheers

yep, looks like they sold you a bad bearing, doesn't happen much, but it does. its kinda hard to check especially for the rear but yeah if its humming from the back i say return it back and get a nondefect part.

Thanks for the reply but I have sorted it. The bearing was ok, but the tire had flat spots on it and that was causing the noise. Put a new tyre on and no noise - nice one!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers :D :D :D
