Rx7 maf placement issue

Post by johnboi85 »

ok i have the bp with the rx7 maf. the problem i've been having is the maf is hitting the bottom of the hood and top of the distributor. i turned the maf until it was 90*(the plug for the maf is on the top towards the hood) is there a draw back to having the maf at this angle? basically it's working against gravity. will it give me a wrong reading? thanks

why would it give you a wrong reading? The springs in it are strong enough to withstand gravity, I imagine :P

It sits that way in the RX-7 anyway. I just looked at one on Tuesday. You'll be fine.
