WTB..Sub Box

Hey guys im lookin for a 15 " sub box an iv been around 2 the audio store and they want lots so id see if anybody on here is getting rid of one they want to sell

Let us know the specs on the sub you are using. Then I can (or somebody on here) can, scratch up a plan for a sub box for you. Then you can build it yourself.

Or check more than two audio shops - I've seen generic sub boxes at larger electronic stores for about $120

Let me know if you need help with a box

yeah i would say build one yourself....its not that hard and its soooo much cheaper. you can use an online box-calculator to figure out the box demensions, or like Typhoonk said post it here and one of us will do it.
p.s. my old 12inch box cost like 40 to make, with material left over

I made my box for 2 PPI C2 12" subs, and it cost me a total of 12.50.

Most shops want at least 150 for a pre-made. Although it helped that I worked for a lumber company at the time.

and if you have the plans already drawn out properly. Then you can get the guys at home depot to cut it out for you. They do it so there is less scrap. Just costs per cut. Then you just got to put it together!!!!

i built my own sub box, for 2 10s awesome box, downside....i have no more trunk space, plus side no crappy rattling. pretty easy to make and looks pretty good.

yeah i built my own for my two 10's (link to some pics in the sig) i think customs are much better since they can be made to fit. mine snugs right up to the back of the seat and leaves usable space in the hatch area. not to mention that something made for a car always looks better than generic ones. used half a sheet of mdf that cost me like $20, plus some screws and silicon (another $10 maybe) so yeah..

now some good fiberglassing would run a good price, and may be worth having a shop do (though even that's not too bad i'm told, just..annoying)

well i dont need your sub lol cuz i got one already an its probally the same sub cuz i got a clarion 2 but i went 2 stores an they want like 150 bucks for a box an i dont wanna pay that much so what bout the 70-80 dollar range for th e box an i live in niagara fallz so msg back when you get this we can tlak business
