I've had mine over 150MPH once with the SOHC tranny and B6T. I was banging through the gears from a standing start 1,2,3,4,5 held 5th for a few seconds and let off of it for a upcoming corner and remembered oh $(^@&#^ I come out of 4th at some where around 115MPH.....looked down after coasting a few seconds and the Speedo was just droping back to 145MPH. I had 16in rims w/ I think they were 215 width Nitto NT-450's at the time. The O.D. of the tire was larger than stock so I was actually going faster than the speedo was reading. Thats the fastest I've had mine...and honestly I wasn't even trying to do what I did and don't recommend it be tried on the street. I was amazed at how stable the car stayed...as speed climbed the car just squatted a little more and became more stable. My suspension setup helped a LOT, the front bumper corners were only about 2.5" off the ground w/ 250lb springs under each corner and Tokico HP's up front.

Someone didn't believe me alst time I posted this, but my speedo said ~136 going uphill (still climbing) with about 500rpm til red. I was in my STOCK GS right after I got it. Didn't want to screw up anything in the first week, so I backed off. I lost 5th gear a couple weeks later, so I never got another chance...
Gimme ZE!

After swaping in the Pro-LX drive train the car hit the SOHC ECU's Rev limiter in 5th gear at 140MPH. However the Pro-LX gearing is MUCH better suited to the turbo engine! 1st and 2nd are a good bit taller and you can swap out 5th for I believe an MX-6's (not sure which) if you need a taller 5th gear. I'm setting my DFI's rev limiter to 7500rpm on the stock valve train and will probably shift at 7300-7400. I'm planning on venturing to solid lifters, etc... later and then I'll shift where ever the power indicates that I need to shift in that specific gear.

yah i toped mine out at 140MPH about 3 weeks ago. 6500 with the pro LX trans, will only go so high. the thing that really sux is i was still climbing fast. i went from about 80mph to 140 in about 5 or 6 secconds, pretty fast. i think with the taller 5th and a higher RPM to 8K or 9K it would see 160. and shouldent hurt 1/4 times.
