long story short, i ordered KYB GR-2 shocks and H&R sport springs from Tire Rack. Five minutes later, i get a phone call saying that they wont sell them to me because the KYB-GR2 shocks arent meant to be paired with lowering springs.
i saw that corksport had the KYB GR-2 AND the H&R springs but i guess i shouldnt buy them if they arent meant to go together whether or not corksport would sell them to me...so.... NOW WHAT?? any suggestions on who to deal with and what springs and shocks to pair up and buy??

GRRRRR!!! im soooo confused right now!! im looking at all these cardomains and past posts and several people talk about and/or recommend the KYB GR-2. they seem to be the only decently priced shocks out there with a good reputation. so can they be paired with lowering springs or not??!! anyone have them with the H&R springs?? whats the big deal?? why would tire rack say it cant be done??

because of the fact that when you lower your car you should get a shorter distance travel strut(shock) to match. and they dont want to be held reliabe if something were to happen like if something were to break. they will be fine as long as yoy dont drop the car more than like 1 3/4" or around there. it will be safe. and Eibachs are alot nicer ride than the H&R's.

Tirerack is famous for that. Everytime I buy tires I have to convince them to sell me the damn things since I'm getting other than the factory size.
