flexable exhaust

Post by goldsberry1 »

i was thinking of useing a 3" flexable exhaust pipe for the down pipe from the turbo. since i hve the whole system out i was thniking of trying that for a while. i would wrap it in insulation and use a insulation blanket i have from work. what do you all think? after i break it in i will be pushing close to 15 psi.
92' mx-3 gsr, built engine, forged internals, p/p ze heads. t3/t4e .63/.60 turbo, udp, msd ignition, millenia s injectors, millenia im, water cooled intercooler, afpr, fmu. running at 7 psi right now

cheaper flex pipe will crack with the extra heat. Be sure to find something that's closer to an OEM style for a flex pipe.
