Hi now that spring is on the way I have bought Brembo cross drilled & slotted rotors (ebay) and goodridge brakeline. this will also be the first time I will try my new 18". the last 4 months I have fixed up my car. A friend started by fixing the body (dents & rust) and got it repainted. Me and my dad fixed the stuck brake calibers. I replaced the tranny oil with a danish product called ABCON (after 400 km shifts are rally smooth even at cold winter mornings!) then I did the following:
- imported SE leather interior from the states
- new exhaust (sounds very deep but its not too loud at all. But its still a head turner :)
- aluminum racing pedals & battery tiedown. with MX-3 logo. Oh yeah not to forget Mazda SS scuff plates with MX-3 logo also (wow looks good!)
- installed car radio (double din) for the first time!
- Mazdaspeed oil & radiator caps, custom strut bar

Next project is a shortshifter but today I found oil in one of the sparkplug holes so a good excuse to replace gasket and polish the valve cover :D comeon what have you guys done recently or plan to do with your car?

rich don't get an fto dude> they suck!

very expensive insurance for a megre 200 horse power... when i had my 2 litre vvti mr2 jap import beams race tuned. That was running at around 200 > 210 bhp and it used to kill fto on the track and streets! + it was like 2 insurance groups less. all round the fto is expensive to run 2!

if it was my money i'd go with a fiat coupe turbo they are nicer lookin 2.

Bastian is the KLZE swap legal in the netherlands? the only reason that I dont do the swap is that I would probably have to swap engines every 2 years to get the car approved :crying:

Wow just thought to my self I wonder if they have set up an Europe section and B*gger me they have. How cool is this, and looking good :D Must have gone straight past it over the last few weeks

As for plans for the car :welder: , I reccon an induction kit, exhaust and boost valve are in order when I get some coin, (trying to buy a house too so torn between where to throw my cash) and all in all try and put the car on a bit of a diet and see how many KG's I can shave off. Would be nice to get some C/F parts but have not got the coin.

Keep up the good work peeps

The KLZE swap isn't legal in the Netherlands, but since the engines look almost identical they'll never know! 2 months ago I had my annual check and I had no problems with either emissions or the engine itself.

If the swap is worth it? Hell Ya! The difference is pretty impressive, but you can tell it's the same type of engine. You'll gain alot of torque in the lower part. And similar to the k8 you have that extra power at 4000rpm, but it's like 3 times more. For me the swap made my mx-3 a complete different car.

That same day I got some Indiglow Guages, yet to install.
Iv got a CF hood, on the way.
And ordered a set of ADR 5 spoke 18s. Just have to wait for the check from the bank.

I might be interested in your actual suspension setup. Why do you want to sell it, and what are you asking for it.
