Hey sorry for the late update been enjoying summer
Right now it looks something like this...
Hella 1st gen Bixenon and FF50 (gonna be fun to change a bulb when it goes, lol) Still need some cosmetic works.....any suggestions? I'm still debating to paint the housing black.....then I'll need to make/find new shrouds...and I'm really lazy and itching to pop them in

Re: clear headlight covers!
I say leave the housing silver. Then paint the black part on your high beam crome as well. To finish the look, put a turn signal in right side of the light, where other have put one on the OEM lights. Should look good with clear signals. Just my opinion.
BTW, nice lenses...you mind giving a short and general how to?

Heh I think one could build actual mouting thingy for the clear lens, I'm just too clumsy for it.Originally posted by Sam Baker:
i think imma use your idea by combining the stock lenses with the clear covers.. it seems to work really well
I posted a new thread for a how-to so I won't feel like I'm jacking this thread with a long post. I've already sanded the lens down to make the housing and shroud black....so to speak. I do like the chrome look but to me there are several reasons that black might be more practical. it hides the home-madliness, attracts less attention (bitter cops might pick me me for this?) so the HID theifs around town won't steal my hard work...
Cheers,
Eugene

Eugene, what are you talking about, you need new shrouds? Are you high? You shoruds are just fine....Originally posted by Eugene H.:
