Wiring under car kit

Post by synap »

Just got my under car kit from the groupbuy (thx honeybabes)and just wanted to know if anyone has a page or a link to some pics/install procedure?

I've read the instructions it came with and they are straight forward, but just looking for some tips.

I'll try to get some pics when I do mine.

thx!

(yes i've used the search feature ;) )

dude just follow the instructions will take about 3 hours to do properly.

i've fitted quite a few kits and the mx is the easiest car i've done so far.

one main tip make sure the connections are inulated correctly. and have a lot of tie wraps to hand. Attach the wires to whatever you can to hide them away from damage.

also don't let the wires get too close to your zaust!

Its pretty easy to install..only thing is that you have to find the right place to put the tube. in the front. with a stock bumper, the only place i put it was ziptied to the hatch support thing...and when i put it there, it broke(cuz of the stress) so i had to buy a small 15" walmart tube and that worked GREAT..just set the switch to always on, instead of pulse..and tape it.
all in all..it was pretty easy...AND make sure you put the side tubes behind the jack support..set them after the notch.

in the end...it looks bad a$$.
