Obscure Defect on the Board?

For some reason, I no longer see avatars and the data on the cars of those who post.

I'm also not getting emails when PMs are sent to me, despite my profile being set to get them.

Is this a known problem, and, if so, is there a cure, please?

I know that a month or 2 ago the boards were reset or something (not sure exactly what) and everyone's avatar was set back to nothing, so people just need to go in and choose their's again. As for the car information, do you mean the people's sig like mine? If that's what you're talking about, someone not having one just means that they haven't set it. I hope that helps a bit.

To change your avatar and signature:
1) go to the top of the page and click "my profile"
2) click "View/Update Profile"
3) scroll down and you will see a place where you can change your avatar and right below that, a place to change your signature.
