Engines???

Hey everyone i am looking into getting a new engine and i dont know much about that stuff so any thoughts and prices as to what i can expect or that i should get?

are you looking to get an oem engine? or swap to something far more powerful? but engines usually cost around $1000 for low milage engines. but if you want a "brand new" engine they are expensive, usually around $7,000-9,000.

actually i remember people mentioning getting new crade DE's for $2000 (it was a discussion about buying a crate DE or used ZE), prolly USD but still, it's not that much

Since your in Oakville, it's only a short distance to A-Spec in Etobicoke. Check 'em out.

i'm assuming they do engines and can help me out? like i said i kno nothing bout this sorta stuff...

Since you know nothing I wouldnt recommend A-spec. From what Iv heard these guys will pick up on the scent of your knowledge and milk you.

a spec charges 1200 for a k8 installed.

yeah man you guys can drop in anytime for some beers whatever.. im @ eighth and uppermiddle just give me a shout before you drop by.. im workin this week 3 till midnight though. 905 580 2676. i do need to take a look at the engine bay in a v6. or a b6t.. and if you guys have done any swaps before i could use some tips.
