I'm trying to do the side markers but they aint coming apart like the front signals did. do i need a hotter oven, i don't want to wreck them, in order to make them fast enough I'm skipping the junk yard, and using the ones off of my car since i did'nt do any damage to the first one. how do i get the side markers apart.note current oven at 60'C

Wow - we're all going to have clear side lenses. I doubt I'll make it to the June 21st meet since that's smack dab in the middle of midterms.
email me and we can work something out.
rtshanks@uwaterloo.ca

sorry I don't think it's going to be worth it to do the side markers, moulds are going to take to much to make, but if you's can think of anything else I could do,I could give it a try,I make the moulds out of urethane.

I thought these...Image
would be easier to make than the turn signals...
I'ld still be willing to buy these if you make a mold...Corksport charges $35/us per pair.
I don't know what a mold would entail, but I'ld gladly pay $35-$50/cdn if I could get them locally

could you make a funky coloured shifter knob out of the stuff you handle?
I have a spare I'ld donate for a mold

The problem with the side signals is You can’t get the lens off the housing easily, so it’s actually cheaper to buy the ones for $35.all in all I’d have to make a mould for the housing and a mould for the lens then glue them all together for everyone which is a bit much work, I’d have to charge the same as corksport.
The good thing about making things out of this stuff is the color will never fade solid color all the way through.
