Re: TorontoMX3club meet Sun march 23
i cant make it, i tend to work 7 days a week, so unless i have a good ammount of notice, its hard for me to make it...
Take the QEW East to the 403 Est, than take the 403 East to the 401 East, than take the 401 East to the 400 North, Take the 400 North until you get to HWY 7, Go West on HWY 7 until you hit the first intersection, this is weston road, turn left on Weston and at the second set of lights, theres a Tim Hortons on the left, thats where we meet....
Well, if im not the only one from Niagara going to the meet, ill see if i can get a shift change on thursday

Ya, I'll Definitely be There. Getting My Rims out of storage next weekend, so it'll be perfect. Once I scrape off all the sand and salt I've collected, maybe i can even give her a lil wax job so it doesn't look like crap. Look forward to seeing some other mx-3's for once. I just hope the weather stays nice.

Re: TorontoMX3club meet Sun march 23
These are some reasons why we have the meets where and when we do.
1)location.
This Tim's is at the Famous players shopping complex in Woodbridge.
It is easy to get to because it is right off the 407 and 400. It is a
nice central location(members come from north south, east and west).
Woodbridge has a MASSIVE car scene, durring most nights in the summer there
are at least 100 cars in the complex if not more.
2)Day.
Sundays have worked out to be the most practical night for MOST members. Most
members have to work durring the week and are too tired to go out after work,
then stay out late, then go to work the next day. Fridays and Saturdays most
members want to spend time with friends, family, girl or boy friends or just relax.
Sunday people are relaxed and usually arnt doing anything in the evning.
3)Time.
Because the stores are open on sundays, the parking lots are PACKED
untill they close. At noon its like the fall of sigon(crazy). the stores
close at 5:00 and by 6:00 the lots are empty. Also, In the summer(when
most of the meets are held) its like death valley at any time befor 6:00,
around 6:30 -7:30 things tend to cool down and the night is usually very nice.

Its important to keep consistant so new members will know when and were to
go if they dont check the board that often, also I will be making up flyers
(probably this week) for us to put on MX-3's that we see in parking lots with
the day, time , and location where we meet.

I would like to suggest that the first sunday of each month be a pre-set large
meet nigt. That way every one can plan for it (time off, baby sitters, ect..)
and everyone can try to make it out so we can have some REALLY big meets.
so if you feel like coming only once and a while, you can make it the first
sunday of the month.
Does this sound good?
[ March 17, 2003: Message edited by: curtklze ]

Re: TorontoMX3club meet Sun march 23
ya i completely agree with curt, its a good time and place the way it is now. i know its a bad time for some and that is unfortunate but for most of us it is fine. and curt is right we should keep it constant, so that way we will always know when it is and can show up with out even talking to anyone for the last few months.

Re: TorontoMX3club meet Sun march 23
i dont mind them being on sunday,i just dont like the short notice, as you guys have said, if its constant, i can definitely make it, but if every meet is planned out-of-the-blue, it can be hard

quote:
Its important to keep consistant so new members will know when and were to
