"Well after the success of Mazda Madness 2003, we are planning on doing it again this year.

We are looking for idea's, a possible format change, instead of a competition, we may just have a big BBQ meet.

Door prizes and vendor section, an area for "show" cars and maybe a people's choice award.

DJ for music, run the show from around 11-5pm.

Any suggestions, idea's, etc...post them up. I would like to get 150 cars there, considering we had 77 cars last year we should be able to get 125-150 quite easy.

NO ADMISSION CHARGE!!!!

Just charge for food like last year, Burgers $2, Hot dogs $1, drinks $1 etc...

So give us some feed back and let me know.

I think what you have just described sounds great. People want to go and check other cars and that is how most of the time is spent. I like the RC Autocross, I wish I had one though. Would be fun to watch.

Sounds like a very good idea. The more mx3 shows there are, the easier it will be to spread the word, and maybe get some more response from businesses and help us get discounts form stores. Nothing like a show to boast out the free advertising. more details about this event would be greatly appreciated.

JUst keep checking the official thread on BCMazda.com This is where most of the info will be posted and I am sure will trickle down to this thread. I think they are planning for Sunday, August the 22nd.

Yep, the thread says Sunday August 22/04 between 11 am - 5 pm. Wonder if it's going to be held down at Adessa in Richmond again or not.
