PT Cruiser vs. me

heard they got neon engine and better ones are turboed and pretty fast for suv, i mean mini van..oh...whatever it is

for the marks it counts as a SUV truck chasis. They use it to raise there average MPG for there truck fleet.

As a whole though it should be quick with a turbo 2.4, other than that the n/a ones are anemic.

yea my moms got the n/a one.. only 150hp but its kinda fast. the turbo is what, 200+ right?? i know it uses the same engine as the turbo crossfire, which is over 200hp. either way tho.. we SHOULD outweigh them.

then again my dad's truck has 202hp, and i have the somewhat 200hp klze, but we pull dead even all the time! maybe its cuz he has more torque.. but still shouldnt the mx3 be a little faster cuz of the light weight?

We never got chance to go ALLLL out, but we were real close when we did go. The guy was telling me they run about 10 hp less than the srt 4 but weight 400 pounds more. Nice sleeper.

As iu understood it is a srt4 motor. It might have a modest ECU detune but even the the srt4 motors are underrated and make 240 at the wheels when that is the flywheel hp they claim to make.

FWD vs. AWD and thats where he wins
Is your MX3 manual?
Dont forget the truck has more torque but you should still be able to beat him though because trucks weigh a crap load...
Is it a Ford? Dodge? GMC? What?

Trucks usually donot have awd, Most have 4wd , And you can't race in 4wd without risking damaging the hubs , So he was probraly in rwd while racing him , The truck is probraly a v8 yeilding a lot more toque thats mostlikely why he keeps right up, As for the PT cruiser , They are no joke they have The Srt motor in then which is somewhat detuned more for economy but its still a strong running engine.
