Recent 1/4 Mile times

Post by UKMX-3 »

Hi,

I did a 1/4mile before i change my engine over.

14/3/04 Conditions were poor with rain and wind etc but i recorded a best of 17.587 and a top speed of 78.7mph.

Does anyone else have recent drag 1/4mile times. Mines are on www.crailraceway.co.uk just look for an Mx-3 it was the only one.

These 17s 1/4mile times remind me why I went turbo. The MX3 is just not a fast car stock, and I mean both the V6 and the 4cycl versions. Infact to be honest the car is pretty damn slow. :)

I ran a 16.3 at 84mph with a 2.34 60ft.. Car had a stock clutch with siezed throwout bearing and pilot bearing.. And the disc was missing 2 springs... Now I have a new clutch.. So high 15's is what i'm hoping for.. Oh and all this was with my stock 1.8 with 150k on the odometer..
