I had an old 1600 Cortina GT that did the 1/4 in 17.3 all stock, so I would think a GS would be at least close.
pull hard, come easy. Second gear is hard at 7300

MX-3 GS stock runs a 16.9.
Mine, Completley stock, w/ a bad disty, clogged fuel pump, trash in the tank and a full tank of gas. I ran a 16.5. I also gutted the car.

I have had the same results as Barry Clark with my stock MX-3.
The only advantage I really have over a lot of drivers on this continent is I learned to drive in Germany.
I drove my MX-3 in Germany, and I liked it so much I sent it back to Montana.
When it hits 150,000 miles I'm going to pay someone to put the KLZE in it with a ton of mods.
Any takers?

rs-88hp...with filter and re done intake pipe(its metal and not the rubber stock one) and a muffler(wow thats wapping 3hp!) and i run a 17.4 and i know i can do better. 17.2 maybe with advancment of timing or weight reduction.
i got a 90 pgt...but wish it was a mx-3 bp-t!
