i have an '84 roller racer with custom handle bar streamers and a padded seat, and my friend has an '86 big wheel with an after market front wheel and new sneakers. who do you think will win. and just to let you know, it's not street racing...it's going to be done on a sidewalk.

he has more torque but i have less weight, and i think i could catch him. if i got better handle grips, do you think i would have a chance?
[ July 18, 2002: Message edited by: cre8v mx3 ]

You could try getting the wheels hot so you have more traction off the line. His torque off the line might give him the edge thow. You could always ram him off the sidewalk.

Dude!, no way...i raced the same guy with my huffy. You have to stip the bell off and the reflectors (way too much weight) and put a ken griffy jr. card on the back tire. That should do the trick. You will definetly have the advatage after all that and some streamers. And as for the grips, if you want to hang with the big dawgs, get the pink ones. just my 2 cents.
Here is a pic of my pimped out dragster.
This pic was taken right before the big race.
Image
[ July 18, 2002: Message edited by: Tman ]
