same story here, i'll buy the ze w/the straight neck to be sure i get the kl31 cams! then i'll get the millenia manifold.

Those KL engine look exactly like my stock K8...how can u tell the difference between both?

the heads on a KL-DE are stamped KL01-101 and 1A1 and on a KL-ZE they are KL31-101 and 1A1, your K8 has K801-101 and 1A1 and on the KL motors there is a samp on the block that says KL

The intake manifolds are also different, the k8=curved neck with rounded runners, the klze= straight long neck with square runners or could be curved neck with squared runners. Also the kfze has a straight long neck with rounded runners. The klde has a short type straight neck with rounded runners.
