lol no it sounds like its running right, i laughed the first time i heard mine. its not difficult to replace, its just a little box in the engine compartment, auto stores should have a variety of different horns, heck you could even get a road runner horn, MEEP! MEEP!lol

personally i find the heading funny, all my cars have very "gay" sounding horns. but i guess i can see how someone could find it offensive.

Ha...sry I knew I'd get some flak for that request. We may have Gay member on this site that could potentially be offended. You wouldn't see any terms refering to black, jewish, italian, mexican or any other race or "type" of ppl on here. A title shouldn't put something down in comparison to a homosexual person, in that case you would be putting them down as well. And no, I'm not Gay myself althought I do have a queer as sin friend that recently came out. It's weird yes...but to see someone get beat down just b/c they like someone of the same sex is utterly disgusting.

Sorry to sound like I've just lectured you, but it's something that ppl. should learn. Just F**kin' respect other ppl's intentions.

Now, plz change the title.

Points well taken. Title changed, be careful with potentially sensitive words next time people.

The horn on my RS wasn't getting noticed when distracted cell phone drivers drifted into my lane on the freeway. After a couple of recent near hits, I installed one of those Italian Fiamm brand dual air horns producing around 120 db sound level. You see em all over ebay at a cost approx. $20-30 USD. Been installed a few months and it is LOUD enough to give any unsuspecting pedestrian in the vicinity a heart attack with one of these. Great for the freeway or getting thru to "bass thumpers" though. Generally seems a decent quality unit for the $$ although the mini compressor housing looks prone to rust over time. Too soon to tell yet.

Im so sorry, didnt mean to offend anyone :( Thanx for the advice. I didnt realize my horn was at normal pitch, I tought it was because it had been wet at one point in life. I will get one from autozone or ebay and BEEEEEP at them crazy drivers that are not me :p I wish there was a rear horn for people who tailgate lol.

Just so you know, Gay also means happy. So it is a happy sounding horn. ;)
