my battery light stays on
nothing seems to be wrong with the car, but the light just stays on after i turn the car on.
could it just be a fuse or should i get the battery checked out?

Re: battery light
That battery light indicates a malfunction with the electrical charging system that keeps the battery charged when the engine is running. Most likely causes are...
1. Too loose alternator belt needs adjustment/tightening. Check this first as it costs nothing to adjust yourself.
2. Alternator belt that has come off and needs replacement.
3. An alternator that needs replacement.
Since the alternator is what charges up the battery, the battery light usually reflects a problem with the alt.

Re: battery light
Hurry up and get a new alternator in. Your just running off your battery for electrical power.
Don't get stranded without checking the alt.
