Clank in front end

Post by MX-3 Money »

When ever I drive over a bump my front passengers side wheel makes a clanking sound. Thought the struts were worn out and got them replaced, but I still have the sound. Anyone have this happen before, or have any info on what it could be?

Is it a clank or a clunk??? JK, check your tie rod end, could possibly be loose. Did you replace the struts or did a shop?

check also the sway bar connectors... mine makes this noise also and I have one connector on the passenger side out and one on the drivers side rear also... Costly little buggers, about $50 for one in the front and $80 for one in the back. I've only found them at the dealership so far... needless to say I havn't replaced them yet either! Still drumming up the cash for the struts!!!! :crying:
