Post by Soulflare »

Does anyone know if there is one out there that fits with the KL-ZE and ZE manifold in?

The Corksport one fits the ZE w/ ZE Manifold...

Or at least it fits Patrck's car from the MX-3 Owners Club of Altanta who has the same set-up.

yea, I've yet to see a strut bar with my own eyes on a ZE... however I have seen a few pics.

Abut that one though, it has a Straight-Neck IM... would that make a difference? Is the Millenia IM taller?

ok well yes it fit over the straight neck manifold but 98% of us here has a curve neck and won't fit over..that's a fact..the millenia manifold is higher than the straight

Here you go. Cusco bar from Japan fits. You have to shave the plate that covers first VRIS buttrefly and cut a quarter inch off a brake fluid reservoir's thread so the cap sits lower. It's nice and sturdy. Made quite a bit of difference, but not as much as SRD lower front bar at least by my butt feel test. With all these bars sometimes I think my ride is too stiff...

And the hood has been closing on top of that for a few years now.

The bar I got from Corksport a few years back. Talk to Derrick though if you are going to contact them. He will know about the bar.

Sorry for the dirty engine bay too...

I cut my corksport bar in half, angled it back behind the manifold and unscrewed each side a little until the front of the bars touched each other.I put a welding blanket underneath, tacked it in position and had it fully tig welded together. After some grinding and polishing you'd never it was made different. Since I had the bar off for so long after I had the klze installed, I forgot about how much it helps. I was nice to have it back.
