you stock brakes are fine. replace pads, fluid, lines, fresh rotors if you need them.

well i was going 127 other day and i needed to stop and my brakes started pulsating on me and shaking and at that speed brakes became uncontrollable so i think with bigger brakes there would be no problems stopping faster

you have dead rotors. Thats why they pulsate. That's part of the aforementioned pads, rotors, fluid, lines bit I posted 1st.

Please try to comprehend.

big brake kits = worthless. unless you are going for show. I doubt you'd run into a time where you'd actually make use of a big brake kit, unless your car is a bonafide track car.

if you want more stopping power, upgrade to the two piston RX7 calipers. I think you can combine those with diamante rotors which I read a how-to about in the past to get more friction area.

And you know someone with this setup on an Mx-3? Would that be from a 2nd gen Rx-7?

1) use high quality brake pads and new stock sized rotors. If you can lock up the wheels, then they work fine and nothing more is needed.

2) if you cant lock them up, try DOT4 brake fluid (flush system) and replace all 4 brake flex lines with Stainless Steel flex hoses. try again, if they lock up brakes are good.

3) if you have some SERIOUS Tires that have MONSTER TRACTION and you cant lock up the tires under EXTREAM braking they you may need to upgrade to bigger brakes.

Brakes dont stop the car quicker, better tires do, if your brakes can lock up the tires you have now, then bigger brakes will just lock up the wheels faster and you will skid and loose control, put stickier tires on untill you cant lock up the tires, then its time to up grade the brakes.

dont forget to mention...
if u lock your brakes often, learn to brake or get better tires. maybe both. if you lock up your brakes easily, a big brake kit will lock them up even quicker.

heheh negative... funny mr sts

1) buy a whole set of second hand lantis (CEABP 2000cc ABS)
knuckle, roter, caliper, lower arm ball joint (may be no use)
2) swap the original hub (4 bolt pattren) in the lantis knuckle
3) drill the lantis rotor into 4 bolt pattren
4) custom make a aluminium center cap(outter 72mm, inner 55mm) between the
4 bolt pattren hub center (55mm) & lantis rotor center hole(72mm)

Finally ,check the lower arm ball joint fit the
lantis knuckle or not,
because mx3 have two type of lower arm ball joint (small or big), and
the lantis knuckle fit the big one only.
