Advice on my current set up (suspension).

Post by Cage »

Hi guys,
I have stock springs with Kyb GR2 struts. I also have 215/55R 18 inch tires. I am going to have kidney falure if I dont change this set up soon. I quite literly can not see stright when driving on the highway due to how freakin bumpy the ride is. What is my problem:

A. My springs are to soft
B. My Struts are to soft
C. My springs and struts are to soft
D. My Struts are to stiff
E. My Springs are to stiff
F. My Springs and struts are to stiff
G. My springs are to stiff and my struts are to soft.
H. My springs are to soft and my struts are to stiff.
I. Noting is wrong its my 18 inch 55 series tires.

Thanks
Cage

PS This is an everyday driver meaning I have no desire to do corners at 90mph.

Throw the GR2`s as far as you can :)
I hope you mean 215/35-18? :)

Get Koni`s + H&R springs, or go with the original springs.

Or if you are on a tight budget, the ZX2`s are also a decent upgrade.
(oh, btw, with 18s you will never get any comfort, ever)

right, the ride was fine befor the 18's, and now its harsh as hell, and its not the 18's
I didn't drive the car when it had 15 inch tires. The car had a blown 1.8 when it was bought .Hence why I am asking A=S=S hat.
