Re: EGT rear wheel disks
it is the same, but not the same.
I was actually in the process of swapping the rotors and pads on my Protege LX to my MX3 since I was selling the Protege, and just replaced the stuff with new brembo rotors and hawk pads.
But to my surprise, the calipers were completly different. The rotors are the same however.
If you want to swap EGT brakes onto your car, you'll need the entire hub assembly, caliper, rotor and even the lateral link arms. If you use the lateral link arms you'll also need the EGT rear swaybar since it uses a different type of endlink system.
It will fit, but its more work than a GS brake swap.

Re: EGT rear wheel disks
I'm not worried about the work
I'm having a hard time tracking down a GS to pull the brakes from But a EGT did turn up at the yard. I figure if I can get out the door with everything I need for under $100 then it was worth it.
A+ on that reply![2 Thumbs Up :2thumbsup:](./images/smilies/2thumbsup.gif)
