evil chilton's and their lack of decent explanation...

so i'm trying to replace my car's antenna that some little booger broke off. My chilton's tells me to remove my 'kick panel' to access the wiring, but does not provide a diagram, definition, or any mention of the kick panel in the index. So i'm assuming this is the plastic panel above my feet on the driver's side, is this correct?

yes it is, not sure what wire it is though, as i've never done this before, but yesterday i installed my new head unit and theres a wire for the antenna, perhaps you could follow it back to the panel if you cant find it?
