Popping/crunching while turning

I haven't had this car for long although I think it is pretty awesome.<p>I didn't notice this problem until after I dropped the front end of the car off a small median incline by mistake. Now whenever I turn the steering wheel sharply at stop or slow speeds, the front axle makes mechanical type of popping noises. There is no shake, problems with braking or problems at higher speeds.<p>I am going to have it put on a lift but thought I would try to get a heads up first<p>TX

howdy<p>i came across that same problem and for me it was the springs if u look at your wheel well and the wheel is almost touching the fender then your springs need replacing and for your luck they are recalled so its free...hehe
