rota sliptream? CD rotors?

rota sliptream? CD rotors?

anyone seen these on a mx-3? I believe tehy are the spoon look alikes, but at 13.5 lbs I think I might get em...ny only problem is which color, gunmetal or flat black? from far away flat black looks like hubcaps to me....any suggestions of pics?<P>Also the cross drilled rotors on ebay, will they add performance or are they just cheap imatations?<p>[ November 10, 2002: Message edited by: Ryencool ]

the point of cross drilled/slotted rotors are just for faster cooling. for daily driving use, you probably won't notice much of a difference. they do wear your pads out faster, however. i have a set of EBC cross drilled/slotted rotors and EBC greenstuff pads on mine, and i can stop on a dime.

I had crossdrilled rotors on the Protege. I couldnt tell any difference, and that included racing. Pads have much more influence.
