Suspension Combo

Post by millionflame »

Before I say anything, yes I did do a search and I did not find the information I was looking for. So, if it is here somewhere, please point me to it. :)
Ok, do the Ground Control adjustable coil-overs require a separate strut, or do they come with one in them already?
Next, if they don't, would ZX2 struts work well with these??
If you just throw a bunch of spring rates at me, I wont know what to do with them, or what they really are.
Lastly, are adjustable height coil-overs durable? I mean, do they wear out and break down quick so the height adjustment seizes up or wont work anymore, or will they last a good 5 or more years???
Thanks for your time.
~A :)

a) yes, you need struts seperately.
b) the zx2s are fine
c) since youre in a cold weather climate, you need to worry more about road salt and such. they'll need to be kept clean.

Thanks, I appreciate the simple answer. I guess I'll just hae to clean them all the time like I do my muffler and rims, so its not that big of deal.
~A
