Help me! Springs

I have enkei 17inch wheels and want to drop my car 1.3 inches i was going to put in new struts right away and get it all over with. A guy at the garage told me that there might not be enough room to aline the tires. is this true its a real small drop and its on a 92 mx3 <P>help

what is the offset of the rims?

offset is the distance in or out the rim sits in the wheel well

My off set is 40mm they are enkei rsf's sorry i didn't know what you meant by offset i
