how much coil do i cut on intrax

i got a 92 mx-3 lowered with itrax springs on 17 inch rims with 40 rubber i want it to sit a little lower on the 17s how much coil should i cut if any?

I would recommend against cutting springs to lower the car any more... Rather you should look at getting Ground Control....<BR>with that setup you can lower it more than what you have now.... but on the MX I would not recommend going lower than 1.5" drop.<P>cheers,

if you are not worried about getting it perfectly level, then only cut out small portions at a time, because there is no turning back. My friend cut the springs on his civic and the left side is noticably lower than the right. It's very hard to get it right, when choppin coils.

DO NOT cut those springs! You cut them then they are garbage. The height will be off each no matter what, so will the weight handling capacity and a great risk of them snapping. Either get GC like Tom said or leave them alone.
