Joel,
I was checkin out your pics, and the coilovers look so small in diameter. Were there special mounting brackets or something to hold the coil over in place?

Most all coilover systems use a 2.5" ID spring size for interchangeability. That last pic shows exactly why i think people should get custom rates and lengths. He doesnt have much travel at all there, and is going to coilbind or bottom out the strut with any major bump or even hard turning.

They sent the new ones, but they are the same size. AHHH, those idiots. I got to call them today. As for putting them on, I didn't do it myself, but I know you need a spring compressor. I think you can rent one from Pep Boys or somewhere.

Actually, I just called them, and they said they are the same size, but different compression rate or something like that. I will get the new ones installed friday and let you know.

Well, i got new struts and the difference is incredible!! It was most certainly NOT the coilovers that were making my ride so bouncy. As for the drop in the front, Ground Control requires that you cut off that one piece on your struts, i forget what its called, but AIM didn't say to. The shop ended up cutting that part off and welding on a washer to support the coilover, making it drop a little bit more, maybe and inch. The front is still SLIGHTLY higher than the back, but I am pleased with it. I will take pics tommorow and post them.
Joel
PS. I would say now that if you have the money get Ground Control, if not get lowering springs. But who knows, maybe you will have better luck with these coilovers than I did.
