I got them on my car when i got rims, so i don't know if its the width of the rims or what but they have alot of traction and are pretty sexy after you shine them up ;)

very nice performance tire....for the price.
There are stickier tires out there, but none that can give you the same treadwear and price. They are good in the rain as well, if thats important in your area.
I have them on my set of 16"s.

all tires' performance goes down in the wet, but the Kumhos do very considering.
If you want to see poor wet traction, run Falken Azenis down so that the tread is barely visible, and do an event in the rain....thats poor wet traction. ;)

ok.. after all this good talk I have about Kumho's, I go to the guy who I know will be able to get me the best price on them.. he reckons even his best price on them ($200AUD/tyre) is too much.. for what they are... so.. my next option, and one that this guy is willing to help me out a little better with is the Goodyear Eagle F1.. any word on those at all??? I haven''t heard much at all..
Any help is appreciated, thanks..
@ds
[ January 15, 2002: Message edited by: eunosads ]

Protege, how did those Falkens do in the dry? They look like they have more rubber and fewer grooves than most. Look like they would stick like glue.

However, wear rating is 200, but its more along the lines of 140. Basically, if you want more than 8 months on the tires, dont drive much.
