Ok let me get this straight
I have an RS with 14" wheels.
-I just bought 15" wheels from a GS.
-I need new tires for next summer.
-My stock tire size is 185/65/14.
-14" = 355,6mm
-15" = 381mm
-so the total diameter is:
355,6mm + 2*(0,65*185mm)=596,1mm
-Now I have to get tire that will be the closest diameter from that right?
-If I get 205/55/15
381mm + 2*(0,55*205mm)=606,5mm
-If I get 205/50/15
381mm + 2*(0,50*205mm)=586mm
-According to this, I should get 205/50/15 because 586mm is closer to 596,1mm than 606,5mm right.
-I know the stock size for GS is 205/55/15, can somebody explain me all this?
yeah, you got it...just remember that certain tires run a bit larger/smaller...
kinda like shoes...each company is slightly different.

I'm not going to work the math but why don't you try bumping it up to 215
