Coilovers & struts??

Post by VizualXTC »

Do you have to buy struts when you get coilovers? Do they have to be adjustable? Just wondering

Will the Tokico struts that CS sells, work well with the GC Coilovers? I am on a budget, but I do want quality.

Im not sure about how the warranty would work there.

i know some people with kyb and tokico struts(non-mx3) with a 2" drop and haven't experienced any probs. but unless the struts you have now are brand new, i'd suggest getting some.
[ December 31, 2001: Message edited by: cre8v mx3 ]

Most people will relate stiff = dampened well. Im probably not too much better than the average driver in terms of this,
So im going off the fact that the Tokico Blues and KYB GR2s are basically designed as slightly stiffer versions of oem struts, not true performance struts. This being the case, i HIGHLY doubt that either will dampen a set of 2" lowering springs correctly. But they WILL be better than the oem struts, so if you honestly cant see the point of getting the proper ride, at least get the Tokico Blues or KYB GR2s Just my 2 cents.
