quik intake Question???

Just droped in a cutomized cold air intake. Question is, The small vacuum hose that connects to the side of the OEM air box. Does this need to be involoved with the intake for any reason or can I just relocate that hose into its own small filter?
Im guessing it just needs to suck clean air.

Where does theother side of the vacuum hose connect to? I havent had the stock airbox in there in a loooong time.

wasnt there only the one to the top of the valve cover? if not, plug that hole, you dont need it. infact, im posotive the hose you are talking about leads to the valve cover. slap a breater filter, plug the hole in the intake and your good to go.

that hose is for the EGR system. just put a filter on it.

OK Thanx guys I went ahead and popped a mini filter on it. Civic intake rides the Mx-3
