For those of you using external wastegates..
I was looking in maximum boost and they were talking about a flexible pipe that goes on the "out" side of the wastegate to the downpipe. is anyone using this type of pipe and if so where the heck did you find it?

Re: For those of you using external wastegates..
Jarid yo...
I don't think you'd need a flex pipe between the wastegate and downpipe.. considering the turbo is isolated to the manifold and so is the wastegate! Since both are attatched to the manfiold.. they should move in unison. You'd want a flex pipe if the down pipe has flexed already. But.. if you connect the wastegate to the downpipe before the downpipe flexes.. you should jsut put in a flexpipe in after the two conjoin. (a flex pipe is aviable at most muffler places) And.. it'll prevent cracking of the manifold. I don't have one on my exhaust.. and my mani's cracking now... it sounds cool though!
I'll just wait till i switch to the b6t mani to do anything about it. PEACE!
