i think you can use your stock tps cause the bpt's is a 4 wire and i think the 94+ tps is a 4 wire 2

Yeah mine came the same way. I love how they shipped it, wrapped in plastic and put on a pallet, free to role around. I am pretty sure everything that got busted I got from a protege lx.

excellent, thanks guys. my motor also had a brand new disty cap and rotor when they shipped it. too bad there is nothing left of it now... it seems like common knowledge not to strap the motor down with the distributor cap.

are you sure you were looking at a 90-94 pro lx? i know for a fact the tps sensor will, i'm 99% sure everything else will seeing how it's the same block design. which temp sensor are you referring to? the one in the thermostat housing, the one on the side of the head, or the small one on the front of the head under the disty? also, what are you going to use as far as engine management?

i'm talking about the one in the thermostat housing. the TPS sensor had 3 little prongs on it instead of the 2 bigger ones on the BPT. i got the tps sensor from checker's and when i saw it was wrong they checked it again and said it was the only one that came up for that car. i'm gonna use the haltech, i was reading the manual and it looks like i don't need the TPS sensor anyway, just the map sensor??? do i need the MAF either??? and the temp sensor was too small for the hole.

If you're using the Haltech, you need the TPS. Use a 4 wire from a 94+ Mx-3. The O2, you also need if you're running closed loop, which is a good idea. If you did'nt then you would have to make a different downpipe. The Mas Air Flow, you don't need because you're using a map sensor from the Haltech.

The water temp in the thermostat housing has to be tapped out for the Haltech sensor so don't worry about that. ;)
