Re: Service Manual UK
Might be hard to find the correct book for 97...but as long as you don't need the OBD 2 codes, you should be fine with an older book.
Stock 1995 RS - Creek Blue

Honda: Hang On, Not Done Accelerating
FORD: Frequently Overhauled, Rarely Driven
Mazda: Must Always Zoom Down Asphalt

Re: Service Manual UK
Hi Paul, Welcome to the UBB. Since you're in the UK, try the following link for a Chilton's Manual.
http://www.motorbooks.co.uk/sindex/list00028.html
Scroll down the page & you will see your car alpha-listed in the Mazda section grouped with the 323. That list is several months old so you might want to contact them to verify availability.
If Motorbooks doesn't stock it anymore, try this other link although it is U.S. based and I don't know what that would mean for your shipping costs...

Myardor,
Thanks very much, but I've already got the 2 cd set and i don't really find it much use. Well saying that it does contain some good stuff.
Thanks anyway,
Paul

Paul
I've got the chiltons manual, had to get it from the USA but it does the job. It is tied in with the probe and MX-6 but as they we're all born out of the same melting pot then that is no bad thing.
Nice one

Thanks P, I'm going to nip to waterstones after work and see if they stock any (its worth a try).
Also can you tell me the easiest way to..
1) Gain access to behind the car radio, i fitted a new one but I want to secure the bolt at the back of the radio to stop it from rattling.
2) How is the car antenna wired around the car and how to I go about putting in a new run of coax? I think the current one is cut somewhere?
Thanks,
Paul Sneddon

Re: Service Manual UK
Just remove the sidecovers, and you got access.
Pretty tight fit though.
