ecu problems?

Post by Ryencool »

What type of ecu problems am I looking at with the b6t swap? I can afford a haltech or any other stand alone. SO what is my best bet at good tuning? and what will the downfalls be? I know cs reprograms stock ecus for b6t's but will it run it the best??

Not that I have any experience about what you're asking, but I assume you're talking about using forced induction, since that's the forum we're in.<P>Just thought I'd clarify for ya...

well if you can afford the haltech id suggest that and i know ashley will suggest it also but we are also a little biased. :D ashley has his on his car and mine is being finished so it should be in my car very shortly. either way i would say go with a stand alone since they have the best tuning. just depends on how much you wanna spend. if your motor right now is the sohc then use the protege lx ecu i believe it is. but if you want full control then go and get stand alone.
