eventual turbo...
eventual turbo...
Ok I'm starting to buy stuff for my torbo project. Now, I'm wondering if I can install the RX-7 fuel pump and LX fuel injectors even if I dont have my turbo yet?
What will be the consequences of doing that? Not as good gas mileage?, etc.
Thanks in advance

Re: eventual turbo...
You could install the pump, might want to stay away from installing the injectors. Shouldn't cause too many problems other than a rich condition.

Re: eventual turbo...
Why would you not recommend installing the injectors?
And if I'd have a richer mixte I'd have to use higher octane right?

Re: eventual turbo...
a rich situation creates a lot of carbon build up and gas mileage goes to crap. the only way to get rid of a rich situation is to add more air and spark. upgraded gas won't help.
Fast imports only come on two wheels.

Got it! I guess I'd be better off leaving them off. Thanks again!
