if i updated camshafts for the kl-03 how much horsepower would i get from a turbo and what turbo would i use.

If you are gunna turbocharge a KL_03 you will problably be able to run a Garrett T3 but I know a guy that's running a turbo off an older eclipse on his ZE. Turbocharging the ZE that way would be cheaper, and also give you more power than turbocharging the 03. Just make sure you upgrade your fuel delivery (pump, injectors, rail) and buy an intercooler. Also an boost controller would be an intellegent purchace as well.

If you're going to turbo your engine and you've got the bread for cams, then make sure you tell your cam grinder you're using a turbo. He'll probably suggest a cam grind with a numerically high LCA (114 degrees or so) which mean less overlap between the intake and exhaust events. Have fun!
