Poll: Do you think using NOS is cheating
Some people say that using nitrous in a race is cheating because it's way easyer to install than a turbo or anything (maybe they're is other reason).
Well I think that any mecanical or chemical component that can make your car faster is good.
What do you think???

Re: Poll: Do you think using NOS is cheating
just because you have a spork and i have a baseball bat, that's not going to stop me from beating your @.....well ok, maybe that's a little too far out there. if that's the case, running a turbo'd car against a n/a car is not a challenge. shoot, i don't care what'cha got or don't got, if i can win...i win. if my turbo 1.8(soon) blows the doors off a rsx type s..."but you have a turbo" so...i still won. so in all this ranting it comes down to what has already been said...run what'cha brung!
[ December 02, 2001: Message edited by: cre8v mx3 ]

Re: Poll: Do you think using NOS is cheating
not cheating, but its the least useful of any of the other power adders, so its a decision that you have to make.
Fun in straight lines, then realize that you still only have 130 hp if you want to turn.

Anything that increases the performance of the car is ok by me. N2O has its advantages as you can have a nice docile street car most of the time and have a N2O breathing moster when you need to.
A win is a win! Doesnt matter if I am being pulled by Kenny Bernstein's 4 sec Top Fueler or not!

Re: Poll: Do you think using NOS is cheating
It isn;t free too refill - yes. However the the money you save by going with N2O rather then turbo or SC is enought to refill your bottle more then a few dozen times!
Not to mention - you ware your engine out faster by adding more hp. So by running N2O only when you need/want it you effectively prolong the life of your modified engine.
More power, more heat. More heat, more ware. Just physics.
Re: Poll: Do you think using NOS is cheating
I run a 85 shot of nitrous and I have had no problems with it at all cause I had it custom to the car.I dont think it is cheating I also dont think any power adder is cheating, the more money you have the more horsepower you have, either way you win the race but lose the money.

Killer Mx3
If you are going to play you are going to pay!
