blow off valve ?

can a blow off valve be used on the stock 4 cylinder mx3 engine ? to make the cool sound , even with out the turbo?<BR>thanks

no, not enough psi going into the intake....but...there is a company that makes fake electronic bov's. it sends an electronic impulse to the "fake bov" when you shift. but personally, i think it's rice material. what kind of "respect" would you get if you pulled into a parking lot and they heard your "bov" and when they asked what setup you were running you'd say, " nothing, it's a fake bov cause i like the sound". i like the sound too, but unless i have a turbo, it ain't happening. just my .02

ya man , thats true. i'm a turbo nut , and my last car used to be turbo .<BR>i love the sound. too bad the mx3 didn;t come in a turbo model
