Oklahoma MX-3 Meet, June 15th

We are going to try and hold the first meet of the year again. This time it will be June 15th at 1pm. It will be in the Oklahoma City area. This Friday I am going to Edmond and try to find a good park that we can have this at. I would like to setup a picnic @ a Park type thing. I have had a couple Emails from people that are just getting an MX-3 or have just found this board that are from outside the OKC area. It would be nice to find something that is easy access and not hard to get to. I expect a great show this time. I know the exact location hasnt set yet but the date and time should be enough for people to make time for. I just wanted to get everyone a couple weeks notice. Please Email me and let me know if you are defently going to make it or if you might be able to. Also email me if your in the OKC area and know a nice little easy to find park that would be good for this event. <P>P.S. Im going to do henna tattooing there for anyone that want them. These look like REAL tattoos and last normally 7-21 days. Although with care and stuff I have seen them last 6 weeks. This is NOT the brownish tinted Henna that you see at beauty shops and stuff. Its Jet Black like a real tattoo. Ill have a couple on so you can see for yourself. I can do any design and have many to choose from. Including an MX-3 tattoo you can choose. So bring some extra cash with ya (average is $5 a tattoo). Most of you know that its illegal to get a real tattoo in oklahoma, so this is great alternative.

Just tell me where it's going to be there and some of my friends will be there. Is it going to be a show or is it going to just be a few people.

The meet is going to be at 2nd and Kelly at 1pm on the 15th. In the SE corner shopping center by Book Haven. I will be there before 1 along with a few friends from Enid, hopefully, so just look for where we are parked. Ok this is going to be a meet and greet. We have them here in Enid, but I guess most places really dont. So Ill explain the difference between a meet and greet and a show. The meet and greet is for anyone that has an import to come and talk to others about ideas and look and see what they have done to get ideas of your own. Question answered and just plain talking shop. This isnt a competition of whos car is better than whos, and as long as you have an import it can be stock or slightly modified all the way to best in show style. So dont be embarressed if you have just a stock import.. Bring it along, Im sure everyone will have an idea on what you can do to it and also give you helpful hints on how to do what you want to do!!! There will hopefully be more than a "few" people there... At least thats what I want to work towards.. Hopefully everyone will have fun and will come back when I hold the next one and bring thier friends and so on...

Unfortantly nobody showed. It was a total disapointment. I hope that we can get a meet up and going and people interacting on a good basis... I guess Oklahoma just doesnt have the MX-3 fanbase that our neighbor, Texas, has... I will TRY this once again, WHEN I move do OKC so I dont drive down there for anything. Prolly the end of July sometime... Im HOPING that I can get some show next time. I think next time we might hold it at Hefner park in Edmond or something. That way we can have a picnic and everything.. Ill let everyone know when that time comes
